Monica Monaco – President
Based in Brussels for the past 13 years, Monica has been responsible as Senior Manager for the regulatory and governmental affairs of an important player in the financial services sector for 10 years. She was a Member of the SEAP Board between May 2012 and May 2015 and founded PubAffairsParis in 2005. She holds a Master’s in Economics from the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. She has previously worked as a consultant for various firms, as well as for the OECD and the Council of Europe.
Jonathan Goff – Associate
Jonny worked in the European Parliament for a British Conservative Party MEP for three years after which he freelanced in London, Brussels and USA. In June 2011, he joined an important player in the FMCG industry as EU Affairs Manager. He has also served as Secretary of the British Conservative Party in Belgium and as Treasurer & Membership Officer for ecpa 2.0.
Laure Tempier – Associate
Laure works since 2005 as a writer/communications officer for an intergovernmental organization dealing with Customs issues and based in Brussels. She previously worked as a consultant for a communication agency, an executive agency of the European Commission and various NGOs in Brussels. She graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Aix en Provence, France, and holds a Masters in International Relations.
Massimiliano Gobbato – Communications Director & Institutional Relations
Massimiliano has this far worked in Public Affairs and Communications roles in the NGOs sector, the European media industry, as well as for an international organisation and a regional delegation to the EU. He has published as a freelance, special contributor and independent researcher on various EU-related politics and policy issues. He holds a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy, as well as an M.A. in European Studies from the College of Europe.
Maximilian Siemens – EU Public Policy Programme Officer
Maximilian joined PubAffairs Bruxelles after having worked as an Intern at Brokering & Luarte Law firm in Santiago, Chile. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees respectively in Development Studies from the Dalhousie University, Canada and in Law from the University of Glasgow, while he gained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Maastricht University. Maximilian speaks English, German and Italian.
