France to hold final round of local elections on June 28 after Covid-19 delay

“After having weighed up the pros and cons, we think that democratic life also needs to resume.This is why the on the 27th of May, we will present a decree to the President, calling on voters to go to the polls for the second round of local elections on the 28th of June”, French PM Édouard Philippe said on May 22.
