While Nato defence ministers have been meeting in Brussels, President Erdogan of Turkey met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazakhstan. Turkey has previously offered to restart peace negotiations – but the Kremlin is saying that the two leaders did not discuss the Russia Ukraine conflict.
