Commissioner Kubilius in Berlin to discuss defence and space initiatives
Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, is in Berlin today to discuss efforts in strengthening Europe’s Defence Readiness, as well as well as ongoing and upcoming initiatives on space. The visit will focus on ensuring a more autonomous and resilient Europe and synergies between space and defence.
Commissioner Kubilius will meet with Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius, Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul and Minister of Research, Technology and Space Dorothee Bär. He will also meet members of the Bundestag and senior officials of Germany’s Federal Chancellery and the Federal Intelligence Service.
These discussions aim to accelerate joint efforts, foster innovation, and ensure that Europe stays ahead in developing the capabilities needed to face today’s fast-evolving security landscape.
