Commissioner Wojciechowski in Croatia to discuss the future Common Agricultural Policy

Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski, is today in Zagreb, Croatia, where he will meet with Mr Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of Croatia and with Ms Marija Vučković, Minister for Agriculture of Croatia, to discuss the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2020. The Commission presented its proposals for the future Common Agricultural Policy in June 2018 and the co-legislative process is ongoing. On 9 January, before joining the College visit, Commissioner Wojciechowski will deliver a speech to the agricultural committee of the Croatian Parliament. From 2014 to 2020, the CAP will invest some €3.5 billion in Croatia’s farming sector and rural areas. More information on the CAP in Croatia can be found online.
