Despite months of brokering by Qatar, Egypt, and the US, Israel-Hamas ceasefire talks have made little progress. The EU, which has contributed over €500 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinians over the past 25 years and pledged an additional €120 million, remains completely absent from the peace process.
