Elisabetta Cornago is Assistant Director at the Centre for European Reform, where she leads work on EU energy and climate policy. Before joining the CER, she worked as an environmental economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and as an energy policy analyst at the International Energy Agency. She holds a PhD in economics from Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
