Heléne Fritzon is a Member of the European Parliament from Sweden representing the Social Democratic Party (Socialdemokraterna). She serves on the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety (ENVI) and the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM). In addition, she is a member of the Delegation to the EU–Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee. She also serves as a substitute member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) and the Delegation for Relations with the Pan-African Parliament (DPAP). As a Vice-Chair of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament, she contributes to the group’s work on equality, sustainability, social justice, and international cooperation.
