Benedikt Kauertz is Head of the Department for Industry and Products at the ifeu – Institute for Energy and Environmental Research Heidelberg. He is an expert in life cycle assessment (LCA) of packaging, with a particular focus on the environmental evaluation of single-use and reusable systems. He has been involved in numerous national and international studies on packaging sustainability and circular economy.
