Since July 2024, Ondřej Krutílek has been a member of the European Parliament and a member of the Committee for Industry, Research and Energy. In 2004, he graduated in political science, international relations and European studies at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University. For many years, he worked as an analyst of EU legislation at the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Culture, as well as in the private sector and in think-tanks. He has been an accredited assistant in the European Parliament since 2009, and in 2019-2024 he was head of the office of MEP Alexandr Vondra.
