Biljana Kulisic, PhD, is a Policy Officer at the European Commission’s Unit dealing with the decarbonisation and sustainability of energy sources within the Directorate-General for Energy. She has over 20 years of experience in developing coordinated policies and evaluating the socio-economic aspects of bioenergy. Since October 2022, she has focused on biomethane, GHG emissions from biofuel pathways, modelling and the role of bioenergy within the energy and bioeconomy sectors.
