Luc Pelkmans is Technical Coordinator of the IEA Bioenergy Technology Collaboration Programme, and Managing Director of the consultancy company CAPREA Sustainable Solutions. He is a mechanical engineer by education and also an expert in biomass sustainability issues. Until 2017, he worked for VITO, a Belgian research institute, as a Project Manager on the topics of alternative transport fuels and drivetrains, biofuels, bioenergy and biobased economy.
