After more than a decade at the helm of Greenpeace, Thilo Bode has founded Foodwatch, which was created in reaction to the shocking BSE scandal. He has been fighting for consumers’ right to know what is in their shopping carts and on their plates. He served as Executive Director of Foodwatch Germany for 15 years before taking over the management of Foodwatch International in 2017. Thilo Bode has been driving forward the development of an independent European consumer rights organisation as Executive Director of Foodwatch International. Foodwatch International serves as an umbrella organisation for the national Foodwatch offices in Germany, France and the Netherlands.
