Umbach Frank

Dr Frank Umbach is Head of Research, EUCERS/CASSIS at the University of Bonn. He is an academic and strategic consultant specializing in global energy security, geopolitical risk management, and the protection of critical infrastructure. He is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Since 2012, Dr Umbach has served as a NATO consultant focusing on energy security and the resilience of critical raw material supplies. In this capacity, he is a frequent contributor to official NATO conferences and seminars. As a consultant he has worked for a diverse range of international actors, including the European Commission, the European Parliament, the U.S. State Department, and numerous governments across Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific.
