US President Donald Trump was unable to destabilise Joe Biden in the first round of debates Tuesday night, despite resorting to often personal attacks, with opinion polls suggesting viewers gave the debate to Biden. FRANCE 24 international affairs editor Philip Turle says there has never been a US presidential debate as violent, rude, or poorly organised.
