US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken today warned Russia of the “severe costs” if it attempted to invade neighbouring Ukraine. Speaking after meeting his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Stockholm, Mr Blinken called on Russia to reverse a recent build-up of tens of thousands of troops at Ukraine’s eastern border. Mr Lavrov, however, insisted Russia doesn’t want a conflict.
