Coronavirus crisis: online learning resources

The Commission has published a webpage highlighting the wide range of online learning materials available at European level. It aims to ensure continuity in education and training activities during the current Coronavirus crisis. With most schools and campuses closed, the current situation represents a real time intense experience for distance learning. Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, said: “While the coronavirus crisis is causing disruption to education, training and mobility opportunities across the EU and beyond, we must ensure it does not hinder learning. That is why we have gathered together a wide range of resources to support online learning.” An upcoming review of the Digital Education Action Plan in mid-2020 will further support the development of online learning at different levels of education across Europe.
