EU ministers responsible for energy will meet to discuss the REPowerEU roadmap and approve Council conclusions on energy security.

Environment Council, 17 June 2025

EU ministers responsible for the environment will adopt a general approach on the end-of-life vehicles regulation and also hold a discussion on the EU’s position for the forthcoming COP30.

Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (Social policy), 19 June 2025

Employment, social policy and equality ministers will discuss better working conditions for trainees, the equal treatment directive, AI and gender equality, and ways to support older people in staying active and reaching their full potential in the labour market and in society.

Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 20 June 2025

Minister will be briefed by the Presidency on the progress made on the EU customs union reform package. The Council will then exchange views on the 2025 European Semester Spring package and approve a horizontal note on country-specific recommendations. Ministers will also adopt implementing decisions under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The Council will be invited to adopt a recommendation by the euro area member states that paves the way for finalisation of the legal acts for Bulgaria to adopt the euro by January 2026.
