Zelenskyy calls Putin ‘crazy’ and seeks further US support in Ukraine

Radio Schuman goes behind the scenes at last night’s European Council meeting in Brussels today with Euronews journalist Shona Murray, to analyse Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s interventions on the sidelines following his discussions with EU leaders.

During the summit, European leaders reaffirmed their commitment to increasing support for Ukraine, stressing there is no time to speculate on what actions the upcoming US president Donald Trump may take once he assumes office in January.

After meeting with EU and NATO leaders, Zelensky, called for further US involvement in support of Ukraine, stating that EU security guarantees alone would be insufficient to protect his territory from further Russian aggression.

Radio Schuman also takes an in-depth look at the top-performing and lowest-ranking European countries in literacy, mathematics, and problem-solving skills.
