Anna Cavazzini is a German politician representing Alliance 90/The Greens who has served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since July 2019. Since November 2020, she has been Chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and serves as a co-rapporteur for the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA). She is also a substitute member of the Committee on International Trade and vice chair of the Brazil delegation. Her constituencies are Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. Before becoming an MEP, she herself worked in the European Parliament, for the Federal Foreign Office and the UN, and was an advisor to various NGOs.
