Edward McMillan-Scott is a British Politician. He has been member of the European Parliament since 1984, and currently, since 2004, he is one of the European Parliament Vice-Presidents, and equally Vice President of the ALDE group. Known as a pro-European British, and a Human Rights and Democracy defender, he founded the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) after the fall of the Berlin Wall, with the objective of promoting democracy and civil society all over the world.
