PubAffairs Bruxelles was delighted to host, on the 24th of June 2025, the event “Beyond Cars: Driving a sustainable and competitive European automotive ecosystem, an afternoon of discussion on how the European Union can foster a sustainable and competitive European automotive ecosystem. The event was a timely opportunity to discuss whether Europe will be able to formulate a comprehensive strategy for the automotive sector, with our distinguished speakers: Pierfrancesco Maran MEP (S&D/IT); Giacomo Migliore, Policy Officer, Road Transport, European Commission DG MOVE; Raluca Marian, Director, International Road Transport Union (IRU); Adam McCarthy, Secretary General, ETRMA. Arthur Corbin, Business Adviser, Cabinet of the Executive Vice-President Séjourné gave an introductory speech.
