PubAffairs Bruxelles was delighted to organise, on the 30th of June 2026, the event “Circular Economy Act: Europe’s new competitiveness strategy – and its implications for plastics“, an afternoon of discussion on the Circular Economy Act as Europe’s new competitiveness strategy, and its implications for plastics. The event was also a timely opportunity to discuss the future configuration of both secondary and primary raw materials markets in Europe, with our distinguished speakers: Pierfrancesco Maran MEP (S&D/IT), ENVI Committee Chair; Catja Appelros, Head of City Business Support, E.ON; Koen Rademaekers, Managing Director, Trinomics, and David Carroll, External Affairs Director, Plastics Europe. Virginia Janssens, Managing Director, Plastics Europe, gave the introductory remarks.
